Paul was a regular in my Yin & Gentle Yoga classes. He would stay after class and regularly discuss his love of Gods word and how the meditation portion of the class provoked deep introspection for him. He would say he only wished he had found Jesus sooner and prayed that those that did not believe would be inspired to investigate the peace that Gods words brought.
His favorite pose was legs up the wall - probably because he pushed himself so hard at lifetime that he took advantage of relaxing in class. He gave me my 1st pickleball lesson; which I utterly failed but he kept encouraging me to keep trying. He was not a quitter and his determination inspired me.
Last year he was so excited to share the champagne his kids sent him for his birthday with us so my husband and I had him over for a steak dinner. He also joined us at our superbowl party and famously walked right into my slider because “it was too clean!” Unfortunately he was hospitalized the night before this year’s super bowl party and he was so sad to have missed the fun. He definitely lived each day to the fullest. I was thankful I had the opportunity to visit him in the hospital, anoint him with oil & prayer and placed a cross on his neck 🙏
Paul lit up every room he entered and loved each person in front of him deeply.
I miss your smile and hugs Paul but I know you are enjoying heaven in a fully restored body which you dreamed about regularly. I am sure you already know everyone there and have all of your questions answered.
No goodbye from me just a -
SEE YOU LATER MY FRIEND 😘
❤️❤️❤️
