It is both heartwarming and a testament to Paul that when I was thinking of a memory to share, my dominant recollections are not of a particularly special place or occasion or activity but him as a person. The word "love" doesn't begin to describe his deep, intense interest in people. One time he and I went to lunch at that small sandwich shop that used to be in Weston Center. I can't remember what we ate or talked about, but I do remember that he had a few kind words for every single person that was there. Many knew him and stopped at our table to talk and for those he didn't know he had a smile and friendly "hello". It's probably been ten years since that day but I remember being in awe of him and saying... "I feel like I am eating with the mayor of Weston, you know everybody!" Perhaps more importantly, you could tell everyone liked him and wanted to be with him. You are a special guy Paul and you will be missed!
